After her school-leaving exam Doris started her career as an employee, ending up as a personal secretary in a planning office. The future outlook and thought of being dependent for the rest of her life seriously bothered her and was not satisfactory at all. So she began looking for a change in life. Shortly after, she saw a Herbalife add in the newspaper that arose her interest. Gathering more information she was overwhelmed by the brilliant commercial setup of the company, the easy approach of being able to work from home using PC & Internet, being able to choose her working hours and enjoying ongoing support of an internationally experienced team.Michael, Doris’ husband, was a biochemist working on a management level for a big German company at that time. I started this business in July´01. Before Herbalife I worked as a chef for 12 years and spent 6 years abroad. At the age of 27 my life desperately needed a change.
